Tour #1 Historical Windhoek

The Kudu Statue

This tour start and end at The Craft Market (Independence Ave), it is the parking between Hilton Hotel and the FNB building. The duration is from 08:00 until 12:00 in the morning.

From here we go step by step through the history of Windhoek. Especially why they called it a True Paris in Africa!

The oldest building in Windhoek is known to be the Alte Feste (Old Fort), for it is the first building Curt von Françios started to build when he arrived in 1890. Yet, is it really the oldest? the answer is hidden within the tour.
